The Loving Cup features the Royal Cipher-E II R on the front and on the rear a ribbon scroll inscribed 1952-2012. Garlands of Oak Leaves and Acorns adorn the cup - a symbol of strength and longevity which has long been associated with The Royal Family.

On the rim and base of the cup is an inscription featuring a quotation from the Coronation Ceremony.
"To Celebrate The Diamond Jubilee Of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth Ii. God Save The Queen. Long Live The Queen. May The Queen Live Forever."
